Cathy Turner
Cathy was appointed as Group Human Resources Director in April 2005 prior to which she held the position as Investor Relations Director for four years. In July 2008 her remit was extended to include Strategy and Planning and Corporate Affairs.

Cathy was appointed as Group Human Resources Director in April 2005 prior to which she held the position as Investor Relations Director for four years. In July 2008 her remit was extended to include Strategy and Planning and Corporate Affairs.
Cathy joined Barclays in August 1997 as Compensation Manager. Following a period in Personal Financial Services, Cathy became the Executive Compensation Director. She joined the Executive Committee in November 2009.
Prior to Barclays, Cathy was a Practice Leader at Ernst & Young and has previously held roles at Deloitte, Watson Wyatt, Percom and Volex.
Cathy is a Board Member of the Royal College of Art and also the IFS School of Finance.
Cathy has a partner, Oliver and three stepsons.
