Barclays Capital opened its representative office in the Argentinean capital city Buenos Aires in 2006, offering investment banking services to clients across the country.
Barclays Wealth established a presence in Argentina through Barclays aquisition of Lehman Brothers Private Investment Management in the USA in September 2008, acquiring US$50bn of assets.
