Barclays employees around the world are encouraged to give their time, energy and skills to the causes they care about, supported with paid time away from work and team grants. We know that our colleagues have a huge amount to give – and – gain by getting involved.

Employees who gather a group of five or more volunteers can apply for a grant of up to £500 to go towards materials and expenses for their project.

In 2010, 37,774 volunteers donated their time and skills to community volunteering activity. Barclays supported these activities with volunteering grants totaling more than £2 million.
