Frequently asked questions - what do I do if:

  • To change your name on Barclays records, please send documents confirming this change (for example, your marriage certificate or change of name deed) to the Registrar to Barclays.

  • If you have an e-view access number and password, you can change your address online – please log in and select 'change address'.

Alternatively download a change of address form, available on the right-hand menu of this page, and return it to the Registrar to Barclays at the address below. You must enclose a copy of you latest Barclays dividend tax voucher, share certificate or Annual Statement of Entitlement with your form.

  • If you have an e-view access number and password, you can change your bank details online. Please log in and click on 'change mandate'.

Alternatively, please download a bank mandate form available on the right-hand menu of this page and return it to the Registrar to Barclays.

  • You should contact the Registrar to Barclays and ask for a replacement. You will be sent a form of indemnity to sign and return. A new certificate will then be sent to you. Please note that there is a charge for this service.

  • To transfer ordinary shares held on a share certificate, please download and complete a stock transfer form and return it to the Registrar to Barclays.

  • You should write to the Registrar to Barclays, sending a certified copy of the death certificate, together with the original Grant of Probate (or a sealed office copy), or the Letters of Administration. The home(s) of the deceased person's personal representative(s) will be put on the share register while the estate is finalised. The Registrar will then place a temporary marker on the register to ensure that wherever possible, they do not issue further dividend payments or other correspondence in the shareholder's name. They will also send you the forms you need to complete.

  • For any questions specifically related to your shareholding, please write or send all forms and documents to the Registrar to Barclays.
