Projects around the world
We aim to support communities in the countries in which we have a presence, by helping individuals and enterprises achieve sustainable development.
With clients, customers and businesses in more than 50 nations, our reach continues to grow. As a result the projects we support, from our long-term socio-economic programme in Eastern Uganda to a worldwide initiative raising environmental awareness among young people, are increasingly diverse.

Katine, Uganda
Working with key partners, we are involved in a major project to improve socio-economic sustainability in the Katine region of Eastern Uganda.
Help the Aged, UK
We have donated funds and expertise to support a campaign providing money management advice to older people.
SolarAid, Africa
We are funding a four-year programme to make solar energy more accessible to community centres, schools, clinics and communal buildings in rural parts of Kenya.
Kutumb Account, India
Responding to local needs, we offer a savings account where domestic staff referred by their employer can open an account with no minimum balance.
Barclays International Climate Challenge
We support a multinational programme in the UK, Kenya, India, South Africa and the USA, to educate young people about climate change.
Supporting small businesses, UK
We run free seminars for small businesses across the UK. In 2008, 913 such events took place.
