“I think it’s great that Barclays is looking at ways to support grassroots tennis as part of its sponsorship of the ATP World Tour Finals, especially in areas like this where kids would otherwise struggle to play the game. The walls can be used for coaching, but also give those new to the game the chance to practice on their own and build up their skills and confidence.”

Former Wimbledon tennis champion Pat Cash launched a new community tennis facility at a Barclays Spaces for Sports site in London, ahead of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.
The tennis wall at Lilian Baylis Community Hub offers disadvantaged young people greater access to tennis coaching and practice facilities. Another tennis wall is also being built at the White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre in North London, home to another Barclays Spaces for Sports site.
David Rutley, Global Retail Banking Marketing Director at Barclays, said: “We’re delighted to be able to support community tennis in this way as well as supporting the elite level of the game through our sponsorship of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, which promises to be a great competition.”
The tournament - which takes place in London’s O2 arena from 22 to 29 November - is the climax of the men's professional tennis season and features the top eight singles players and doubles teams in the world.
The event will feature players such as Roger Federer, Raphael Nadal, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic.
