HIV/AIDS awareness programme across Zambia

We're supporting a three-year initiative, training sports coaches in Zambia to educate young people about HIV/AIDS.

In May 2009, Barclays Spaces for Sports announced its investment in a three-year project, in partnership with international health organisation Grassroot Soccer.

Under the scheme, 60 local sports coaches will be trained to promote HIV/AIDS awareness – alongside football skills – among a target audience of 18,000 teenagers.
