Barclaycard launches Williams-Sonoma card in the US

Barclaycard and Williams-Sonoma, a premier retailer of home furnishing and gourmet cookware in the US, have announced a new co-branded Visa credit card.

Barclaycard and Williams-Sonoma, a premier retailer of home furnishing and gourmet cookware in the US, have announced a new co-branded Visa credit card.

The card includes a generous loyalty programme, which enables cardholders to earn reward points for purchases made wherever Visa is accepted.

Cardholders earn three reward points for every dollar spent at Williams-Sonoma, and one point for every dollar spent everywhere else Visa is accepted.

They also receive 2,500 bonus points after the first qualifying purchase, which can be immediately redeemed for a US$25 gift card or credit.

Cardholders can redeem points for culinary-themed awards, including Williams-Sonoma gift cards, customised travel packages and cooking events at select Williams-Sonoma stores.

They can also take advantage of one year of free standard shipping for online purchases made through the Williams-Sonoma ReserveTM Program.

A customised Visa Signature Concierge service is available to both Williams-Sonoma Visa Signature and Platinum cardholders.

The concierge services offers complimentary 24-hour assistance on dining reservations, travel plans and ticket purchases for special events.

It also features personalised gift-giving service to help cardholders find the right Williams-Sonoma gift when shopping for friends and family, as well as luxury travel packages designed with the Williams-Sonoma customer in mind.

There is no annual fee for the card.
