Barclays Premier League to welcome 250 millionth fan

The world’s biggest league is expecting to celebrate its 250 millionth fan through the turnstiles on Tuesday, 27 November.

Barclays is looking to reward fans from each club with an ultimate match-day experience for themselves and three fellow supporters.

The league launched just over 20 years ago on Saturday, 15 August 1992 and photographers will be at all 20 fixtures during the week of 24 November to take exclusive pictures of both home and away fans.

The images will be uploaded onto the Barclays Football Facebook site Facebook.com/BarclaysFootball where fans can identify themselves to be eligible for the VIP prize draw.

We are also taking a look back at the past 21 seasons by sharing some of the best images of those action-packed years on Facebook, inviting fans to post their own memories of these historic moments.
